Welcome to the iPAR Metrics Database
What is it?
A free database that uniquely and intuitively categorizes the impact metrics universe, utilizing the iPAR framework.
The Metrics Database will grow as more funds become iPAR Verified, thereby providing better insights to asset managers and investors.
How will it evolve?
As more asset managers publicly reflect the impact data they track, the entire ecosystem benefits from improved transparency.
By seeing both the frequency and application of various metrics within the iPAR framework, investors and managers alike will develop a mutual understanding of which metrics matter most.
What isn't it?
This is not an attempt to establish a new metrics catalog. Where applicable, we default to IRIS for metric definitions.
This is also not a publication of proprietary impact returns. We only publish what each fund is tracking, not their actual performance.
What is the goal?
The short-term goal is to make metrics more accessible and comprehensible for the impact investment industry.
The long-term goal is to provide the foundation for standardized impact reporting and analysis - thereby generating greater capital flows to the industry.
